This is an opportunity that speaks to the fundamental teachings, of Yoga: through PRACTICE, PATIENCE and PRINCIPLE - AWARENESS of the breath (PRANA) and CONNECTION. This type of practice involves repetition: holding, flowing and transitioning; affording you, the and transitioning; affording you, the opportunity, to become familiar with, more [common/basic] poses... that speaks functional, everyday movements. It's a practice that allows you to EVOLVE at you at your own pace... as YOUR own mind/body requires. In your own time... you'll gain the ability (and strength) to EXPLORE/incorporate more free-flowing possibilities into your practice. This practice will include: [mild, and mandatory] deep (tissue) stretches and basic/gentle/grounding/back-body (supported) poses. In time we will incorporate more upward, and downward facing, poses; however, with respect to your individual interest, there may be little to no standing postures... in THIS particular practice. Whether you're just beginning your journey - as a student or, teacher - NEW to the mat, experienced and or, are at ANY level of teaching yoga... this is an opportunity to build, and REFINE your skills, knowledge, understanding & CONFIDENCE-- on, off & BEYOND, your mat!

This offering is fun, and EMPOWERING; speaking to the basic functions and fundamental act of walking: with PURPOSE, poise--grace & SAVVY! Walking is the most primitive form of exercise. The means [most] of us use to get from A to B; a fairly simple act, that can be performed without thinking. And most of US.. have been walking, since before we could talk. But, when was the last time you paid attention, to YOURSELF... while you were walking - MORE than just, for the purpose of, watching where you were going? When was the last time you were aware of your expression? Your energy? Or simply... how you were feeling? How often do you notice the difference in your stride, your posture or, the position of your shoulders - when you're sad or, angry... compared to when you're happy? When was the last time... you simply observed?
